W.A.Y.S Soccer League provides our school practice participants additional opportunities to play the game and develop the skills they have worked on at their school. Viewed as a recreational, non-competitive league focusing on additional learning, these scrimmages encourage school pride and build a bridge to transition players from school play to our WASA Soccer Club.

How the league works.
1. Register and pay $30 league fee. This fee is placed to reserve players spot in league as their are limited spots available and guarantees a commitment from participants of attending all 6 scrimmages. During registration, let us know which school your child attends.

2. *Complete school specific teams will be made if enrollment is enough from a particular partner school. Remaining teams will consist of a combination of your child’s classmates and other players who also participate in WASA Soccer at other schools. All players will be in age appropriate division continuing to learn game rules and how to implement skills learned in real game settings.

FAQS Is this required since my child practices at their school?
This program is offered in addition to our practices ON SITE at your child’s school. It is not required to register. We understand the convenience of after school enrichment and that not all participants can commit to out of school activities. This program is designed to further develop our participants passion for play and provide them with an opportunity to put into practice their skills learned during practice sessions. Great for players looking to play in WASA Soccer Club!

Why is there an additional fee from the School Practice fee?
This fee provides a guarantee from our players confirming commitment to the 6 game WASA season. ($5/per game/per player) We would like to see the spots go to participants who are interested in transitioning from School practice to WASA Soccer Club and can be relied upon to be present on game days to assist in team building & chemistry. Kinder-5th grade welcome, all skill levels welcome.
Fee is used for field rental and staffing of the scrimmages.

What equipment will my child need?
All players require:
Soccer specific shoes (Turf shoes or sneakers only. No cleats).
Shin Guards
Soccer Socks

What if I get put on the waiting list?
Once enough players to make an additional team are registered on a waiting list, a batch of players will be activated and create a new team.

FORMAT: 4v4 NO GOALIE (4 quarters: 10 minutes/ each)
ROSTER:7 players per team.
TEAMS: 4 team maximum

2nd-3rd Grade(Born in 2009-2010)
FORMAT: 6v6 (Goalies) (2 periods. 25 minutes/each)
ROSTER: 9 players per team.
TEAMS: 4 team maximum

4th-5th Grade (Born in 2005-2008)
FORMAT: 6v6 (Goalies) (2 periods. 25 minutes/each)
